New Beginnings

It’s always an exciting time when you unwrap a new canvas and start thinking about the next painting. Sometimes inspiration is all we need but it’s not always there. We have to open our minds up to the ways in which we might find inspiration, in which it might cross our paths, and what types of things that we might be looking for inspiration for. People find inspiration in nature, through technology, through people who we emulate, through random occurrences, and even within ourselves. I always find inspiration when I’m near the ocean and

lately, I’ve been missing that. This new painting that is in a very early stage, will be one of 3 based on one of the most important substances on earth, water AND something I enjoy painting whether it’s in an abstract painting or a seascape.
