Golden Dawn

I enjoy working in oils. The main advantages of oil paints are their flexibility and depth of color. They can be applied in many different ways, from thin glazes diluted with turpentine to dense thick impasto. Because it is slow to dry, I can continue working the paint for much longer than other types of paint using a palette knife and large brushes. The colors in this new painting are vivid yellows and golds and a variety of warm and cool blues. 36" x 36" Oil on canvas Maple floater frame

Mineral Specimans

I am always interested in seeing how my work looks when it leaves my studio and finds its new home. A painting from my Full Circle exhibit a few years ago has found a new home in Arizona. Titled 'Full Circle' now lives in Arizona. My client purchased this painting at my Open Studio tour last year and it was the perfect fit in her bathroom filled with mineral specimens. The colors of the painting worked great in her guest bathroom. Love it when someone connects with my art! Always makes me happy! 'Full Circle' Mixed media on canvas 24x24
